I'd love for you to fix the favorites feeds, so it doesn't serve the same file for all new favorites since last time. (mp4)
Both iTunes and Google Reader sees all videos in the feed as the mp4 file of the last added favorite.
Until you fix this, RSSHandler is useless for me. :(
I'd also like a way to get ALL favorites shown in the feed, not just the last X entries. Perhaps only on first view? So I can download all my favorites.
I hope I have fixed this favorites issue, please check. As about max number of items. I don't promise I will add add this feature very soon, but you can try this hack - 1) first, create feed for your favorites. For example you will get something like: http://www.rsshandler.com/favorites.rss?feedurl=http%3A%2F%2Fgdata.youtube.com%2Ffeeds%2Fapi%2Fusers%2Fxxxxxxx%2Ffavorites%3Fv%3D2%26alt%3Drss&format=18 2) just after alt%3Drss at the end of the URL, enter this %26max-results%3D50 3) you should get something like http://www.rsshandler.com/favorites.rss?feedurl=http%3A%2F%2Fgdata.youtube.com%2Ffeeds%2Fapi%2Fusers%2Fxxxxxxx%2Ffavorites%3Fv%3D2%26alt%3Drss%26max-results%3D50&format=18
This parameter %26max-results%3D specifies max result number per feed. It is restricted by Youtube to 50 items maximum. So I hope it will help. Maybe I will add it to favorites generation some time, but as quick solution this should help.
I'm unable to convert the following playlist: D7BEC5371B22BDD9 to an RSS feed. It comes up with a blank RSS feed when I enter it into the form on your site. I'd prefer it to be in an .mp4 format, if possible
Strange. My playlist feed (playlist id 5F394CB9AB8A3519) was working well till about two weeks back. I checked in my browser and I got the following error. I also got the same error if I tried to get the channel feed from the same user (trailers). However, if I switched to another channel (say tedtalksdirector), it works!
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/base/python_lib/versions/1/google/appengine/ext/webapp/__init__.py", line 507, in __call__ handler.get(*groups) File "/base/data/home/apps/worbu/2.335232793481136070/main.py", line 289, in get tid = getTid(link, self) File "/base/data/home/apps/worbu/2.335232793481136070/main.py", line 334, in getTid tid = m.group(1) AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'group'
It would be awesome to be able to rename the podcast. Example: http://www.youtube.com/user/Google would the name be: "Uploads by Google". And it would be AWESOME to set my own Title, like: "Google". Thanks in advance.
Can't get this to work on iTunes at all. Titles of the feed come up but I get the error message. "the URL "http://feedproxy/google/com/~r/inpitlane/~5/stcUDiHGaP4/flvproxy.mp4" could not be found on the server"
Any ideas what I can do, if this thing works it'll be a godsend in terms of saving time.

The ability to generate RSS feeds for YouTube playlists would be useful.

The ability to remove videos from the RSS feed to keep the Podcast fresh and on topic.

its been said before but i still want this to happen "The ability to remove videos from the RSS feed to keep the Podcast fresh and on topic."
I'd like the video I download to be named as the title of the youtube video.
I mean when I download this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79dt9HRif8g the file I download should be named "Ninja Cat.flv" and not "video.flv".
Thanks a lot!
can u do youtube ideo to mp3 that will be great help plese reply as soon as possiavble thanks
